What to look for

Look for gram and ounce modes, a tare button, a readable display, and enough capacity for your bowl plus ingredients.

How to use it

  1. Put your bowl on the scale and press tare.

  2. Add the first ingredient to its target weight.

  3. Tare again before the next ingredient, being careful not to exceed capacity.

Make it last

Wipe clean; keep water away from the electronics. Store flat and replace batteries when readings become unstable.

Before you buyVolume and weight are not interchangeable for every ingredient. A cup of flour and a cup of honey weigh very different amounts.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your particular tool. This is general educational guidance, not a hands-on product review.
